Dog World at Steam Next Fest

Steam Next Fest is here, and Dog World is stepping onto the streets for players to experience firsthand. Now, everyone can try the demo, taking on the role of a dog walker in a living city environment, guiding dogs trough busy streets, unexpected situations and everyday challenges. This marks an important milestone for the project, opening the doors for player feedback and allowing us to refine the experience based on real interactions. It is an opportunity to test the core gameplay loop, observe how players interact with the systems and continue improving Dog World towards its full release.

New Features in the Latest Build

The current demo introduces a complete onboarding tutorial designed to teach players the key mechanics of dog handling, environmental awareness, and navigation in a structured and accessible way. This is supported by a revised UI system with improved readability, clearer iconography, and more consistent feedback, ensuring that important information remains visible and understandable during active gameplay. In addition, the main city environment has received updates to its AI systems: pedestrian behaviors, traffic flow, and general ambient activity have been refined to produce more believable interactions and a more coherent urban space.

The demo is available now as part of Steam Next Fest. Download it, try the experience for yourself, and share your feedback to help shape the future of Dog World.
